ISO New England - Utility Solar Generation for Sunday - Thursday, March 12 -16, 2023 (Unofficial)
A Nor-Easter covered much of New England with snow on Tuesday March 14 and Wednesday March 15.
It also covered a lot of solar panels with snow. From Sunday (Mar 12) to Tuesday (Mar 14) the peaks of Solar generation dropped 80% for Utility Solar - 496 MW to 96 MW. One might assume a similar reduction in Behind The Meter Solar, which is only estimated.
From Sunday (Mar 12) to Tuesday (Mar 14) the Solar total generation of energy (MegaWatt-Hours) dropped 85% for Utility Solar (15,106 MWh to 2,187 MWh).
